After many years of being a commissioning editor for a UK publisher, which included higher-level text editing, I have edited a number of books under my business, InWriting, for several publishers, and offered advice to authors and publishers. I undertake both higher level and copy editing at all levels from popular to academic and professional books. Most of my experience is with non-fiction, but I have edited some fiction. Books edited range from The Street Bible to a large symposium for explosives engineers.

As a result of a special interest in George Macdonald I have edited a number of editions of particular books, such as Phantastes and Diary of an Old Soul. I hope to edit editions of other writers.
